But PoTeaTo Bistro Café strives to do just that – the clean, soothing element of a good pot of tea, to cut the ‘heaviness’ from a potato dish. This quaint bistro café is somewhat unconventional in that sense, setting up ‘home’ in the Tiong Bahru precinct since 2012, where java joints seem to dominate.
Expect to dig into some good ol’ Fish and Chips, and cleanse your palate with a pot of Oolong Rose right after. Or indulge in some tantalizing Baby Back Ribs and wash it down with a glass of the Signature Homemade Iced Lemon Tea (our ‘Happy Drug’).
PoTeaTo’s ode to the spud is best sung in its lovingly curated potato dishes comprising potatoes mashed, thick cut, drizzled with truffle oil or just classically baked. Those with a sweet tooth may find an affinity for PoTeaTo’s Sweet Potato Fries, which tantalize with its savoury sweet flavour. Not only are these sweet spuds downright delicious, they are complex carbohydrates, high in fiber and Vitamin A. Have your spud and eat it.
PoTeaTo’s simple cosy space is perfect for soirees, corporate workshops and meetings. With the great space comes great food and oodles of privacy. What’s not to like?
